The Art of Taste is an interactive, in-home culinary experience that brings the excitement of cooking, learning, and gathering around food directly into your kitchen.
Unlike a traditional private chef service where the meal is prepared for you, The Art of Taste invites you to become part of the experience. Chef Nashaly brings the planned ingredients, culinary tools, professional guidance, and creativity while you provide the kitchen and the people you want to share it with.
Depending on the experience you choose, you might make fresh pasta from scratch, learn how to cook the perfect steak, create dishes inspired by your favorite movie, explore the cuisine of another country, take on a Mystery Basket Challenge, or enjoy a completely customized culinary experience.
Throughout the experience, Chef Nashaly guides you step by step, sharing professional techniques and the why behind what you're doing. No previous cooking experience is necessary, and your level of participation can be adapted to your comfort level, whether you want to be hands-on from beginning to end or prefer to participate a little and observe a little.
Most importantly, The Art of Taste isn't only about what ends up on the plate. It's about learning something new, laughing together, connecting with the people around you, and creating a memory in your own home.
We bring the culinary experience to you.
You provide the kitchen. We bring the experience. Together, we create the memory.

Not at all! The Art of Taste is designed for everyone, from complete beginners who rarely step into the kitchen to confident home cooks looking to learn something new.
Chef Nashaly will guide you through the experience step by step, explaining techniques, answering questions, and helping you feel comfortable along the way. The goal isn't perfection, it's to learn, have fun, and enjoy creating something together.
Your level of participation is completely up to you. Want to roll up your sleeves and be involved from start to finish? Absolutely. Prefer to take on a few steps while watching and learning during others? That's perfectly fine too. Each experience can be adapted to your group's comfort level.
You'll learn professional techniques in an approachable way, understand more about the ingredients you're working with, and hopefully leave the kitchen feeling a little more confident than when you started.
Come as you are. We'll guide you through the rest.

One of the best parts of The Art of Taste is that we bring the culinary experience to you.
You provide a clean, functional kitchen with access to basic utilities such as a working stove or cooktop, oven when required, running water, electricity, and enough counter space for your group to comfortably participate.
The Art of Taste takes care of the rest. Chef Nashaly arrives with the planned ingredients, specialty culinary tools and equipment needed for your selected experience, and everything necessary to guide you through the menu.
Before your experience, we'll complete a quick kitchen check-in so we can learn more about your available space and equipment, as well as any dietary restrictions, allergies, or other important details. This allows us to prepare appropriately and make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
For certain experiences, we may ask to use basic items already available in your kitchen, such as your oven, refrigerator, sink, or dishwasher. Any specific requirements will be communicated with you ahead of time, no surprises on the day of your experience.
All you really need to bring is your kitchen, your guests, and an appetite to create something memorable.
We'll take care of the rest.

Absolutely! Customization is one of the things that makes The Art of Taste experience personal.
Menus can be thoughtfully tailored around your group's preferences, occasion, experience level, dietary needs, and the type of culinary experience you want to create. Whether there's a particular dish you've always wanted to learn, a cuisine you'd love to explore, or flavors your group simply can't get enough of, we'll work together to create a menu that feels right for you.
Celebrating something special? We can also design the menu around the occasion, from date nights and birthdays to anniversaries, family gatherings, themed evenings, and other celebrations.
Food allergies and dietary restrictions should always be shared with us before your experience so we can determine what accommodations can safely be made. While we'll do our best to accommodate your needs, some menus or experiences may have limitations depending on the ingredients and techniques involved.
And if you don't know exactly what you want, that's completely okay. Tell us a little about your group, what you enjoy, and the kind of experience you're looking for, and we'll help guide you from there.
Your experience doesn't have to fit a menu. The menu can be created to fit your experience.

The Art of Taste is designed to feel personal, interactive, and comfortable, which is why our experiences are best suited for small groups.
Most experiences are designed for 2–6 guests, allowing everyone the opportunity to participate, ask questions, learn new techniques, and enjoy the kitchen without feeling overcrowded.
Most experiences last approximately 2–4 hours, depending on the menu, number of guests, level of participation, and experience you select. Some menus may be shorter, while more involved experiences, such as handmade pasta, themed culinary adventures, or multi-course menus, may require a little more time.
Because every home and every group is different, we'll discuss the expected duration with you while planning your experience so you know what to expect before the day arrives.
Have a larger group in mind? Reach out to us! Depending on your kitchen space, selected experience, and menu, we may be able to accommodate additional guests or recommend an experience that works best for your group.
Our goal isn't to rush through the meal. It's to give you time to learn, cook, connect, and enjoy the experience together.
